There are times when the unexpected can be frustrating or even dangerous. But there are also times when the unexpected can be good. Take an exam, for instance. If your tests were perfectly planned out and followed the exact rules then you would probably do well on them.

However, if that was the case then you would probably be bored or frustrated because there is nothing unpredictable about them at all. The unexpected makes life more interesting and interesting is what makes life worth living.
